The day has come: Google released the first final version of Browser "Chrome" for Windows (versions for Mac OS X and Linux are planned).

Important to know for developers:

• Google is based on Webkit-Engine by Apple, so you can adress Chrome the same way as Safari.
  
• Google's JavaScript-Engine "V8" renders JavaScript based websites very fast, which is an advatage vor web applications such as Google Documents.

Like almost every application from Google, Chrome likes to phone home, that's why Chrome is called the "largest customer survey of all times".
